By creating an account or using Attune, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the organization you represent.
1. The service
Attune connects to a mailbox you authorize (Gmail or Outlook) and a Shopify store you connect, reads incoming customer support emails, matches them to the relevant order, and helps your team draft, review, and send replies — automatically in some cases, or with human review in others, depending on how you configure it.
2. Accounts and access
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure.
- You're responsible for the actions taken under your organization's account, including by team members you invite.
- You must have the authority to connect the mailbox and Shopify store you provide to Attune, and to grant Attune the access described in our Privacy Policy.
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Attune to send unsolicited bulk email, spam, or content that violates applicable law.
- Connect a mailbox or store you're not authorized to connect.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or disrupt Attune's infrastructure, or access another organization's data without authorization.
- Use Attune to process data in violation of applicable data-protection law, or in a way that infringes a third party's rights.
4. AI-assisted drafting and sending
Attune uses an AI provider to draft and, where you've configured it, automatically send replies to customer emails. You're responsible for reviewing your organization's automation settings and for the content of any reply sent on your behalf, whether sent automatically or by a team member. Attune is a tool to assist your support workflow — it does not guarantee the accuracy of any AI-drafted content, and you should configure human review for anything where an error would matter.
5. Your data
You retain ownership of the customer, order, and email data you connect to Attune. You grant us the rights necessary to access, process, and store that data solely to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for having the necessary rights and permissions to share your customers' data with Attune for this purpose.
6. Availability
We aim to keep Attune available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Attune depends on third-party services (including Google, Microsoft, Shopify, and our AI and infrastructure providers) that are outside our control, and an outage or change on their end may affect Attune. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.
7. Disclaimers
ATTUNE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT AI-DRAFTED OR AI-SENT REPLIES WILL BE ACCURATE, APPROPRIATE, OR ERROR-FREE.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ATTUNE AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF ATTUNE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO ATTUNE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.
9. Termination
You may stop using Attune and disconnect your mailbox and store at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service, with notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including data handling obligations already underway, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify account administrators directly. Continued use of Attune after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
